    Garrum
Lieutenant! Corporal Garrum, sir! Ready to brief you on the Migrant Merchants' Guild at your command, sir!
    Meteor
    Let's get down to business.
    Garrum
Here's the situation, sir. The Migrant Merchants' Guild is a criminal organization comprised primarily of non-humans whose homes were destroyed by the Empire's assault on Coruscant. They began squatting in this district and refused to leave when Republic security tried to push them out. There's been an uneasy truce ever since.
    Meteor
    Tell me about the mission.
General Garza informed me that your primary target within the guild is a cyborg inventor named Krel. Reports indicate that Krel's strength and speed are at least triple the human norm, with genius-level intelligence to boot. Taking him down will be a real challenge, sir.
    Meteor
    Understood.
Additionally, Krel has designed and constructed a full platoon of advanced war droids that we believe are intended for Tavus and the other SpecForce traitors.
    Aric Jorgan
A full platoon is a lot of firepower to lose. Tavus is really going to feel this one.
    Garrum
General Garza wants all of Krel's war droids neutralized before they can be shipped out, sir.
    Meteor
What's so advanced about these war droids?
    Garrum
Heavy armor, multiple integrated weapons systems and advanced combat and targeting logic, sir. The deadliest droids money can buy. Krel and his droids are way too much for standard SpecForce operators like me to handle, sir.
Krel has his war droids patrolling the Migrant Merchants' Guild base. General Garza wants them all found and destroyed.
    Meteor
Do you have a fix on Krel's location?
    Garrum
Negative, sir. We know he's inside, but that's about it. That concludes the briefing, sir. Good luck and good hunting.

and the other SpecForce traitors. Jorgan commented that a full platoon was a lot of firepower to lose and Tavus was really going to feel this one. Meteor asked what was known about the droids and Garrum replied, that the droids were equipped with heavy armor, multiple integrated weapons systems and advanced combat and targeting logic. Garrum added that Krel ordered his war droids to patrol the Migrant Merchants' Guild base and General Garza's orders were to seek and destroy all of them. Meteor and Jorgan thanked Garrum for the briefing and left the outpost.
Meteor and Jorgan made it to the Lower Skyline Mall, where, according to intelligence, all the containers were stored. They located and destroyed three containers of droids, killing the Guild members who were guarding them. They then set off in search of the cybernetics lab to find the droid's creator himself. The laboratory was guarded by Guild members and various war droids, which Havoc squad quickly dealt with. Then they found a control consol and disabled a security field that prevented their further advance.
Reaching the far end of the lab, Meteor and Jorgan finally found Krel. They ordered him to surrender, but he refused and told them that he would kill them instead. Before ordering his guard droids

to attack, he told Meteor and Jorgan that he had implanted several civilians with undetectable enhancements without their knowledge and planned to release them back to their normal lives, only to later activate their hidden programming and wreak havoc across Coruscant. He boasted that their abilities now rivaled even his own. Then he ordered his droids to attack. But Krel underestimated the members of the Havoc squad and paid for it with his life, all his droids were reduced to a scrap pile.
Unsettled by what Krel revealed to them, Meteor commed General Garza to determine whether to act on Krel's claims or not. General Garza was quick with her judgement, she ordered all the cyborgs inside the lab to be found and killed before they could escape and mingle with the population. Meteor was unsure that Krel wasn't bluffing and asked if it was right to kill innocent people just because some madman said they were dangerous. Garza was adamant, telling Meteor that the only thing which should concern them what was right for the Republic. When Garza closed the call, Jorgan told Meteor that it would be wrong just to kill these people and Meteor replied that they weren't going to kill anyone. They then set off in search of civilians inside the lab.
They located the room which was locked from inside and had an comm unit neat the door. Meteor activated the comm and female's voice told them that they heard what was Krel said and they were not cyborgs. Meteor convinced the three survivors - Kalyn

- to provide their IDs, and then released all three. They thanked the operatives and fled the laboratory.
Meteor contacted General Garza again and she was furious at what Meteor had done, but even more angry that her direct orders not being followed. The lieutenant told her that her orders were out of the line, and if they were heartless, there would be no difference between the Republic and the Empire. Garza asked Meteor to remember that they had to be heartless so that the people of the Republic weren't, and that would ensure that the Republic didn't become an Empire. She ordered Meteor and Jorgan to return to her office immediately and ended the call.
Meteor and Jorgan returned to the Senate Tower to receive their next assignment
